Utilities
Hudson Homes will pay utility service providers directly, except where prohibited by law. Utilities include water, sewer, gas, electric, and trash.
In some states (DE, MA, NC, TX), the resident is responsible for direct payment of select utilities. If this applies, the resident will be notified and should pay the Utility Bill in accordance with the Utility Addendum attached to the Lease. Utility responsibilities by state can be found in your Pre-Move-In Checklist.
Utility bill payments are due monthly, concurrently with rent. Utilities bill in arrears, meaning you will see last month's activity on your bill.
If your utilities are in Hudson Homes name, you may see your latest charges on your resident ledger in your Resident Portal.
